Intimacy Coach, Educator, Mentor
My work and life are informed by the existential reality that is confirmed on every website and news portal – it could be my last day.
Or yours. So I approach our time together with deep devotion and respect.
Initially this work was personal. I was in a relationship with someone who had been deeply traumatized. What I discovered took me back to myself, and propelled me onto this journey, studying with AASECT professionals (American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and therapists), The Body Electric and Joseph Kramer, Esther Perel, Daniel Odier, and countless others. My most profound learning has been working with my teacher, Shambhavi Sarsavati and the Jaya Kula community.
Along with a private practice, I’ve been a featured speaker at conferences and universities, providing a bridge between the Tradition and the New, the body and that elusive aspect we call spirit.
I’ve made my peace with the fact that I won’t be a surfer this lifetime. I do love to dance, practice yoga, walk. I enjoy art, theater and food. I teach yoga in recovery centers and transitional housing, and volunteer with numerous organizations. I find when I’m in service to others, I have more capacity to show up for everything in my life.
It is my privilege to be of service to you and your relationships.
